I haven’t posted on this in a while,ok more than a while,it’s been forever!
Im back home in the uk,got back 17th dec just in time for Xmas which was my main reason for leaving early!it feels like I’ve been home forever but it’s only about 6 weeks which is weird!since then I’ve just been catching up with friends,applying for jobs,trying to fit back into normality and I will admit its been a lot harder than I thought it would be!at some points it’s been a real struggle,not because I particularly miss life in Florida but I just didn’t feel like I slotted in well here,but that’s all passed now and I’m feeling like me again :)
It’s bloody cold here mind!supposed to snow today I think,I do love being cold tho and snuggling in bed!
Got a lot of Cardiff based activities for this weekend and then the rugby starts on Sunday,obviously i am looking forward to the dynamics of the sport rather than the players *cough Jamie Roberts cough*
I don’t know why I’ve written so much crap here like this is supposed to be a diary,I mean I think that’s what it was originally intended for,like proper blogging but now all people seem to do is post pictures!i like pictures tho so it’s ok.

This is a photo of some cakes I got for free from work the other day.it’s the only Disney related picture I have on my phone so I thought it would do!that jazzy little number in the back is my bedspread!anyway enough about bedspreads and cakes,I am updating you of my adventures! I’ve really settled in here recently.I seem to have turned a corner finally!I’ve met some amazing people,I’m having awesome times.I’m getting use to the weather a bit more I think too! Today I went on the keys to the kingdom tour.was so amazing,learnt so much I never knew before!learnt a lot about walts life,I blubbed a few times as I like to do. Work is fun altho I’m getting loads of late shifts,altho I have an early tomorrow,hoorah! I’ve picked up my pre service pack so need to knuckle down and get on with learning that!hello tips!$$ Been out quite a bit to cowboys,lasses and parliment.drunk lots of beer!still miss my cider tho! So yeah that’s it!fun Florida times :)

So I’ve been in America for 1 month now!I can’t decide whether I’m surprised it’s been that long or surprised it’s only been a month.I’m still having a good time,it’s a real rollercoaster ride tho.they warned us it would be!some days are amazing whilst other days are low when I’m feeling homesick but I guess it’s all part of the ride!I’ve been meeting lots of new people which is nice.registered for a backstage tour thing of magic kingdom for free which I’m looking forward to :) it’s still boiling hot over here and humid but I guess it beats the drizzle in Britain!I’ve been doing lots of fun things,mainly involving beer and the parks altho not together cos that wouldn’t be a good combo!the new arrivals are here now so a big hello to them!apologies I’ve not kept this updated very well,I seem to lose all concept of day and time over here!it’s only been a month and I’m already worrying how I will ever live in the real world again!

First day

Today was my first day of work at epcot.it was pretty cool,it felt so weird to be the other side!it feels like I’m in a bit of a trance at the moment and none of this seems to be happening.I drew hopscotch and gave out mickey stickers.it’s nice here,I’ve met loads of cool people already,it’s just a very different lifestyle,I don’t think anyone can be prepared for the change! My Internet is causing me grief,I can only get it to work on my iPhone,praise the lord for apple!because of this,I haven’t been able to upload photos or talk to my parents on skype which has increased my homesickness,booo!!but hey ho all will be well I’m sure! Can’t wait to wear my bonnet next week in chippy.no seriously…I can’t! Over and out

Howl at the moon

It’s been a whirlwind few days here in Orlando but it’s been fab!I went to howl at the moon on Sunday night which was amazing.it’s a duelling piano bar and it has such a good atmosphere!drinks were 2 for 1 tho which meant I got a bit tiddly,oops!it would appear that the heat makes hangovers 100 x worse so I will have to bear that in mind.in the day Ashley and Kate came to pick me and Diego up from the hotel and we went to ikea and panama bread.nom!also went to see where we will be living.it looks amazing!I secretly got a bit teary in the back but no one saw,phew!Kate and Ashley have both done the programme before so they gave us lots of insider info which was v.handy!I seem to be saying that word a lot so far…handy! Anyway….today we went to downtown Disney.we met Alex in the hotel first.then ‘we went on the monorail round magic kingdom and epcot.I almost died of excitement when i saw the epcot ball thing.we saw a special ‘cast member only’ entrance.to think I can go in there this time next week still doesn’t seem real.so that’s my adventure so far.it’s still hot,it’s still amazing and tomorrow we move into Disney! Let the memories begin…..
